💜 Lavender is good for so many things. You can add a few drops to some distilled water in a spritzer bottle and spray it around the home or classroom.
💜 You can drop a few drops onto a mosquito bite to soothe the sting
💜 Spray it around the car before a trip to have a nice, calm ride
💜 Mix it into homemade Playdoh for a fantastic playtime
💜 Massage it into tired shoulders and have some quiet, sweet bonding time with your child
💜 Lavender reduces anxiety and helps children sleep better too.. spray some around the bedroom before sleepytime.
It’s also good for: Acne Eczema fungal infections And according to the Sleep Dr “Lavender works as an anxiolytic (anxiety reliever) and as a sedative, to increase relaxation and calm, and help bring about sleep. Lavender interacts with the neurotransmitter GABA to help quiet the brain and nervous system activity, reducing agitation, anger, aggression, and restlessness”. Nice!
My cabinet is FILLED with essential oils. I love the fact that essential oils are NATURAL and can be used for such a variety of things. Our Mother Earth can meet our needs in natural ways without the toxicity and chemicals of so many of the products used today. I believe that traditional, natural medicine along with allopathic medicines can work in harmony, but I always use natural as much as possible. I always go to essential oils and plants FIRST, before resorting to other things. Lavender oil is just one example.
